Buckingham Fountain
In 1927, the Buckingham Fountain was dedicated in Chicago’s Grant Park. Designed with sculptures and sea horses by Jacques Lambert, the fountain was donated by Kate Buckingham in memory of Clarence, her brother. The idea behind the Buckingham Fountain is two-fold. Lake Michigan is represented by the water in the fountain and each one of the sea horses stands for a different state that borders the lake. [top]

Formerly known as the Sears Tower, this major building in downtown Chicago, Illinois is now called Willis Tower. At a staggering height of 1,450 feet, the Willis Tower is the western hemisphere’s tallest building. Shedd Aquarium
The world’s largest indoor aquarium, Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois is a sight to behold.
