Rockefeller Center

A National Historic Landmark, Rockefeller Center is a collection of commercial buildings in Midtown Manhattan. The most famous of them is 30 Rock, which is home to the NBC Studios. Take a tour or ride to the top of the building where the Top of the Rock Observation Deck offers unbelievable views of New York City. Statue of Liberty

Times Union Center (formerly Pepsi Arena)

The former Pepsi Arena and current Times Union Center is a sports and entertainment arena of the highest order. The Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League play here. Recently, the Times Union Center hosted the NCAA National Championship in hockey, affectionately known as the Frozen Four. An array of other events, including rock concerts, family shows, and motocross, have premiered at this top-notch Upstate New York venue. [top]

State University of New York, Albany

Founded in 1844, the State University of New York, Albany, enrolls over 18,000 students in nine schools and colleges. The school offers 58 undergraduate majors and 128 graduate degree programs. Academic choices are many and include such cutting edge fields as public policy, nanotechnology, globalization, and documentary studies. The school boasts three campuses, two in Albany and one in East Greenbush, just east of Albany. [top]

Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden in New York City is where you come to cheer for your top professional sports team and scream your head off for your fave singer or band. Nyack Beach State Park

Nyack Beach State Park is a 76-acre park in Nyack, New York. Designated a National Natural Landmark in 1980, the park provides picnicking, biking, hiking, fishing, and, in the winter, cross-country skiing along a path that’s perfectly flat and handicap accessible. The path is two miles long and follows the Hudson River all the way to Rockland Lake State Park. [top]
