Victoria Park
A 400-acre woodland park in Truro, Nova Scotia, Victoria Park welcomes everyone with hiking trails, an outdoor pool, playground, tennis courts, picnic area, and ball field. A meandering stream makes its way through a gorge, where you’ll enjoy two really nice waterfalls. Those seeing some exercise can hike one of the many walking trails or climb the 200 steps to the top of a rocky gorge. [top]
Tidal Bore Rafting Park
Tidal Bore Rafting Park is 180 acres of pure enjoyment. In addition to rafting on a river, you can swim in an in-ground swimming pool or hike one of the groomed trails that hug the river bank. Recent additions to the park include a sauna and hilltop restaurant. Open all year long, Tidal Bore Rafting Park is known for its exceptional rafting tours that are available from May through October. [top]
Truro Golf Club
The Truro Golf Club is situated in the middle of the Truro, Nova Scotia but boasts a very rural feel. The 18-hole, par-72 course brings a lot to the table, such as wide fairways, rolling greens, and an abundance of trees, sand, and water. There’s a good chance you’ll see such wildlife partridge, fox, deer, and cranes during your round. As for the weather, it all depends on the tides of nearby Bay of Fundy. [top]
Mastodon Ridge
The place to come and learn about Nova Scotia is Mastodon Ridge in Stewiacke, the halfway point between the North Pole and the Equator. Ski Wentworth
Ski Wentworth is located in the Nova Scotia, Canada town of Wentworth. The largest alpine ski facility in the province, Ski Wentworth provides an 815-foot vertical difference. Along with its nearly two dozen alpine trails, the ski area serves up a half-pipe and terrain park.
