St. Croix National Scenic Riverway
The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway protects 252 miles of rivers, including the St. Croix River on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border and Wisconsin’s Namekagon River. The upper St. Croix is a renowned smallmouth bass fishery. Other riverway fish include walley, sturgeon, catfish, and northern pike while the Namekagon River is known for trout. Siren National Golf Course
Since 2001, Siren National has been a favorite of golfers both locally and nationally. A well-maintained 18-hole, par-72 championship course Siren National features bentgrass fairways and greens. Governor Knowles State Forest
Located near Siren, Wisconsin, Governor Knowles State Forest is 55 miles long and two miles wide, covering 32,500 acres. Nearby are county forests along with Fish Lake Wildlife Area and Crex Meadow Wildlife Area.
